In this webinar, Dirk Ortloff from Process Relations will discuss how new approaches to manage process recipes can increase the oversight and reduce potential inconsistencies in manufacturing processes. The development of new fabrication processes for different high-tech industries (semiconductor, solar, MEMS, new materials, etc.) becomes more and more challenging due to increasing degrees of freedom. More and more material and equipment options exponentially increase the amount of possible combinations. With those the amount of possible side effects and combination issues increases as well. In this webinar Dirk Ortloff from Process Relations will indicate the resulting challenges and will introduce approaches how to overcome them. He will demonstrate how the XperiDesign module of the XperiDesk software suite fulfills the requirements for multi-dimensional recipe access and retrieval as well as how multi-templating can be used to enable process engineers to manage equipment dependencies and recipe knowledge management.
